We just got back from our second holiday, the first being Turkey. This time the trip went to Annecy in the French Alps, and it was nothing short of breath-taking. It slightly reminded me of Norway with the contrasting mountains and water. Lac D'Annecy is known to be Europe's cleanest lake, which would explain how clear the water was and the spectacular color of it. We spent the days sightseeing this beautiful town, known as Venice of the Alps, swimming, drinking French wine, eating French cheese and tandem cycling around the lake - As you do.
As we were camping I spent a lot of time prior to leaving creating a mental list of what to pack - It had to fit in a backpack, not need ironing and be versatile for chilly evenings. Hence the days ended up being spent in cut-off denim, tank tops, and one very multi-functional cape ideal for the evenings when we wanted to sit outside and enjoy the view. To add a bit of something extra I packed a few statement jewelries for the trip.
(Black tank top, Mint tank top, Cut-offs and purple velvet trousers - H&M / Cape and cuff - ASOS / Necklace - Primark / Bracelets - Made by my beatiful friend Ditte)
